Garment Care Instructions

For Cotton, Rayon and Silk garments : I would recommend gentle hand wash in luke-warm water with lavender or eucalyptus wool mix. Hang them up to air dry. Avoid putting valuable garments out in the sun to dry. The sun may cause bleaching or unwanted fading of garments.

For Denim Jeans: When washing denim, please protect other garments washed with it. Please turn jeans inside out. Then zip and button up the jeans before putting it in cold water With a little color-safe detergent.

By doing this, you prevent the teeth of the zips and metal buttons from marking your other valuable fashion in the spin. For gentle care, set your washing machine on delicate cycle. Denim is designed to age and distress. To prolong the original color of your denim, always hang it in the shade but turn it inside out.

For Suiting and Technological fibers: Try to avoid dry cleaning your suit jacket too often. To keep lasting shape and structure of the suit, consider regular airing of your jacket inside out. Air it in the shade.

N.B. These are to be used as general guidelines only. Not all garments and fibers are created the same, so for more details on how to care for your individual garments, I recommend that you consult our deluxe dry cleaning services or your local laundromat on your particular garment needs.

Candle Burning Instructions

  • To best experience your Master/slave candle, make sure that the wick is 5mm long before each light. If smoke appears, the wick needs to be trimmed.

  • The candle wax ensures heat from the flame does not reach the glass and cause damage, so always stop burning when 5mm of wax remains at the bottom of your jar.

  • Ensure also that your luxurious candles are not left unattended when burning or within the reach of children.

  • Dispose any paper or printed packaging material.

  • Do not touch or move your candle when lit as glass jar may be too hot to touch.

  • We advise that you place the candle on heat resistant surfaces and away from drafts.

Instructions on removing spilled wax.

Wax on carpet:

Here are a few simple steps to remove wax from your carpet. Be aware that stains may remain; professional carpet cleaners are recommended.

Step 1. Upon cooling, scrape off as much of the wax as possible.

Step 2. Place a clean cloth or paper towel over remaining wax, then use a warm iron or hair dryer to slowly melt the wax. Some of the wax should adhere to the cloth or paper towel, which can be easily lifted off the carpet. The iron should NOT be hot, as it can permanently lock in the colour of your candle to your carpet. Avoid using printed paper towel as ink may also transfer onto your carpet.

Wax on clothing:

Step 1. Allow the wax to cool and harden.

Step 2. Delicately remove cool, dry wax with fingers.

Step 3. Pour hot water through the affected area, checking with garment care instructions first. If hot water may not be used, simply place the affected area between two layers of paper towels and using a warm (NOT hot) iron, warm the wax and let the paper towels absorb the melting wax.

Wax on solid surfaces:

Step 1. Upon cooling, scrape with a pliable instrument such as a plastic spatula. Metallic and harder instruments will likely damage the surface.

Step 2. Place a brown paper bag over the surface, then use a warm iron or hair dryer to slowly melt the wax. If surface is flammable, do not use an iron.
